Packers (No. 3) @ Broncos (No. 4): BES Game of Week 8

OVERVIEW: The Sunday night showdown between the Packers (6-0)  and Broncos (6-0) is shaping up to be a game worthy of pay-per-view billing. Featuring two locks as future Hall of Fame quarterbacks in Aaron Rodgers and Peyton Manning, this matchup between two of the league’s five remaining undefeated teams is easily the most anticipated game of Week 8.

KEY MATCHUP: Broncos Defense vs Packers Offense
The Broncos have traveled to this point on the shoulders of their defense, currently ranked No. 1 by the BES. The unit is a star-studded cast that leads the league in fewest yards allowed per game (281.3) , sacks (26) and fewest passing yards allowed per game (192.2).

Conversely, the Packers possess the No. 2 BES Offense and rank among the league’s top-10 in points per game (27.2), rushing yards per game (127.1), fewest sacks allowed (11) and yards per play (6.1).

The opposing units are the best either has faced thus far this season. Which ever unit is the first to set the tone and establish the tempo of the game could ultimately determine the victor.

X-FACTOR: QB Peyton Manning and Broncos Offense
We previously highlighted the struggles of Manning and the Broncos offense as the key reason the team has merely survived to this point of the season. If their struggles persist against the Packers, the Broncos defense could pay the price and end up too fatigued to consistently suppress the Packers volatile offensive attack for four quarters.
