My name is Desmond Bailey, creator of the Bailey Efficiency Score (BES). I was born and raised in Los Angeles, California where I currently reside and work. The BES is my baby and is essentially its own thing… A.I. I suppose, albeit at the most basic level of course.
As for myself, I’ve been an avid NFL fan for nearly 30 years now and have been writing NFL related articles online since roughly 2005. Most recently I wrote for ChiefsDigest.com before starting BESReport.com.
I created the BES back in 2006 for my own personal use to get an edge in fantasy leagues and office pick’em pools. I continued to develop it over the years to the point where many friends, family and co-workers strongly suggested I start my own site.
A ton of work and time goes into it every week despite me presently holding down two jobs and having a family (wife and two boys). It’s quite tedious but it is a labor of love no less. I also thank God for my family and their patience with me as I do spend many an hour on the computer staring at NFL statistics.
Other than that, I’m a regular Joe…somebody you’d likely have a few beers with at a bar and talk about the NFL and all the drama that comes with it. I’m a pretty down-to-earth guy that just happens to love football, math and writing.
Therefore, it is my sincere hope that you enjoy the BES Report and find it useful in whatever current pursuit brought you to this neck of the pro football metric woods.
Thanks for stopping by and God bless!
